Alison is a Massachusetts native living in New York. Over the last decade working in politics, advocacy, and education, she has connected thousands of families with new and exciting school options in their community and improved student recruitment systems for dozens of schools. Her first win at Underdog Strategies was foundational and a real “underdog” story: together she and Joe led their candidate Mathylde Frontus to victory over the establishment candidate who outspent them 5:1. 

Prior to founding Underdog in 2018, Alison served as Director of Tactics for Families for Excellent Schools. There she helped mobilize tens of thousands of parents across New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Chicago to challenge their local and state representatives to address education inequities around funding, safety, and education access in their communities. In 2020 Alison also worked as Deputy Get Out the Vote Director for the Biden/Harris campaign in Wisconsin. 

Alison is passionate about supporting schools to achieve — and exceed! — their enrollment goals and helping grassroots leaders win campaigns and advocate for their communities.
